26.11.2011 - Kuusamo trip (first day)

Last weekend we decided to go to Kuusamo, because of the Nordic Opening. If anybody doesn't know what is that, the Nordic Opening is a competition of Sky jumping, sky running, and so on xD.

Our first trip stop was Rovaniemi (yeah, once again xD). We were walking for the city center for a while, before going to Santa Park Village (Napapiiri).

After that, we went to Napapiiri. This time was different, because the night came at 15:00, and in all the village had christmas lights.

After Rovaniemi, about 250 km of road were waiting for us xDD. So we picked up the car and we went to .... our cottage, in the middle of nowhere but only 20 km far from Ruka (the place where the Nordic Opening was happening)  xDDD.


When we arrived, we made a barbecue and, finally, it snowed!! (in the next updating, photos of the frozen lake xDD)
